Well Buller finally has the goods. After a painful few weeks watching the snow fall everywhere else, 14 cms has fallen overnight with another predicted 25-30cms for this weekend!
Sadly, the snow-blind crew can't be there, due to commitments in the city - boo hoo. But instead of feeling sorry for ourselves we thought we would spread the love around by offering up a few beds for a few lucky people at one of the best places to stay on the whole mountain (in our humble opinion)
Nestled in amongst the gum trees over Chamois way is a freestanding chalet made from wood and stone with soaring glass windows just ideal for watching the snow falling all around you. Abundant natural light and a view over the bluff and across to Southside and up Bourke Street complete the idyllic picture.
And there's an open fireplace, big comfy leather sofas for lounging on and a state-of-the art open plan kitchen too.
You can strap on your skis at the back door and be on Chamois Run in 5 minutes - no pesky lift queues at the village either, as the Canyon Rope Tow allows you to drop straight in to Standard run for first tracks!
The lodge has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 8 people
So, check out the photo gallery below and then pick up the phone to AMS Mt Buller on (03) 5775 3112
this could be the week of the season ...
